How Learning Log fits into your days
Designed for real family life. Capture what is already happening, then let Learning Log help you organise it into a clear record of progress.
1
Capture the moment
Snap a photo, add a quick note, or paste a short description of what your child is doing. Think Lego builds, cooking, nature walks, books, board games, or therapy work.
2
Tag outcomes in a few taps
Choose the Key Learning Area and outcomes that match the activity. Over time, you build a rich picture of learning that is tied to recognised curriculum.
3
Share and export when you need to
Create read only links for individual entries, or export grouped logs to share as PDFs or CSV files for moderators, schools, and therapists.
Built for homeschooling, neurodivergent families, and flexible learning
Learning Log is created by parents in neurodivergent households. It is intentionally simple, respectful, and focused on the real admin tasks you have to do.
Capture once, reuse many times
Attach photos, videos, and notes to a single entry and reuse it as evidence for multiple outcomes or goals.
-
✓
Store rich context including parent comments and reflections.
-
✓
Evidence links that you can reference in reports or emails.
-
✓
Exports that stay readable and organised.
Curriculum aware, without being rigid
Select Key Learning Areas and outcomes that are relevant, while still honouring the way your child naturally learns through life.
Learning Log does not tell you how to homeschool. It gives you language to describe what your family is already doing in a way that agencies and educators understand.
Designed for sharing with professionals
Whether you are registering for homeschool, building an NDIS progress report, or collaborating with a therapist, you can share only what is needed and keep the rest private.
-
✓
Secure read only entry links (no app login required).
-
✓
PDF exports that look professional and are easy to scan.
-
✓
CSV exports for families who like spreadsheets.
Respectful of time, energy, and privacy
Learning Log is intentionally minimal. No social feed, no public profiles, no unnecessary notifications.
-
✓
Fast logging on busy days.
-
✓
Private by default. You choose what to share.

Created by parents in the world you live in
Learning Log is built by a neurodivergent family who homeschool, juggle therapies, and navigate registration and support systems too.
“We wanted something that felt like a calm folder for our week, not another social app. Learning Log is designed to reduce anxiety around reporting, not add to it.”
Founder, Learning Log
“So many parents are already doing rich learning at home. They just need a simple way to show it in language that schools and agencies recognise.”
Homeschooling parent and education advisor
“Clear, visual records of what matters to the child make it easier for therapists and teachers to plan support that actually fits.”

Questions parents often ask
Here are answers to a few common questions. If you would like to talk about your specific situation, you can always email
support@learninglog.com.au.
Is Learning Log a full curriculum?
No. Learning Log is a record keeping tool. It helps you capture and organise learning that is already happening in your home or community against curriculum outcomes.
Will this replace my current notes and spreadsheets?
Many families use Learning Log alongside existing tools at first. Over time, they often move most of their evidence capture into Learning Log because exports are easier to share.
Can I share entries with my child's school or therapists?
Yes. Each entry can have its own read only link that you choose whether to share. Recipients can view the entry and evidence in a browser without creating an account.
How is our data handled?
Learning Log is built with privacy in mind. Entries are private to your account unless you choose to share a link or export a file. We will publish a full privacy policy and terms before leaving early access.
